What does a unit cost?
The AFB-0010 is the least expensive automated single slide acid fast stainer on the market. Call for current pricing.
What about the warranty?
A twelve (12) month warranty is standard. If a problem occurs, call our toll free number 1-800-295-9588. If your problem cannot be resolved by phone, a replacement unit will be shipped to you overnight at no charge.
Extended warranties are available. Call for pricing.
What about maintenance?
Daily maintenance is not required, however, GG&B recommends that the tubing and pump windings be changed annually. We have retubing kits which include tubing, elbow fittings, pump windings, stainless steel cannulas and wire ties for complete front to back replacement. High usage may require that the cuvette be cleaned once a month using a Q-tip and methanol that can be done in a minute or less. Call for pricing.
Does the AFB-0010 require special slides?
No. The machine was designed to accept several manufacturers’ slides. A quality 25mm x 75mm slide or 3in. x 1in. slide works fine.
Are QC slides available for the AFB-0010?
Yes. GG&B does provide QC slides specially made for the AFB-0010. Your order will be shipped same day if placed before 2:00 pm CST.
What about the stain/reagent kit?
The stain is high quality flourescent stain. Kits process 125 tests and have an unopended shelf life of one year.
